Kriegerseele is a small working line German Shepherd located in Illinois. We aim to produce sound dogs suitable for IGP, AKC sports, and as family companions.

Skylar Copeland, owner of Kriegerseele, has been a German Shepherd owner since she got her first shepherd, Athena, when she was a mere 11 years old. Athena had a very successful sport career, earning 30+ titles in agility, obedience, and rally. She is a white coated German Shepherd, who then led Skylar into White Swiss Shepherds, which she has been breeding since 2020 under kennel Fireside Fernweh. In 2022, Skylar started IGP with her White Swiss Shepherds at OG Edgerton in Wonder Lake, IL. The Swiss have done well, but wanting a dog with more drive and power, Skylar purchased Bria in July 2024.

Bria has been my right hand girl since her arrival. She is absolutely in love with me and will do anything I ask--the loyalty of the German Shepherd is unmatched by other breeds. Bria is the foundation for Kriegerseele GSDs. My love for this breed truly stems from their devotion to their people as well as their drive and determination. German Shepherds are truly versatile, an absolutely amazing best friend, great sport partner, and just all-around good dogs.
